Good Day Everyone,
Once again i am having cron issues with GhettoVCB.sh script. When i was under VI3, i had to define and insert environment variables into the crontab in order to get it to work. I have now moved to vSphere and supposedly the variables dont need to be defined. However this is not working, with or without the defined variables.
Here is my crontab entry:
SHELL=/bin/bash
PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin
16 7 * * * /vmware/ghettoVCB.sh /vmware/testvm
Can someone assist?
Stevester
you should send a PM to or add a comment to http://communities.vmware.com/docs/DOC-8760 so he will be notified directly.
You should not PM lamw:
2Q: I've sent you private message or email but I haven't received a response? What gives?
2A: I do not accept issues/bugs reported via PM or email, I will reply back, directing you to post on the appropriate VMTN forum (that's what it's for).

Good Evening Everyone,
Actually the issue has been resolved. Cron does work as I had a spelling mistype in my GhettoVCB.sh script. Also, I downloaded the latest GhettoVCB script.
Thanks
Steve
