DataRecovery Sanpshot image is Empty

Hi,

Im rather amazed, and not quite sure to make of the following.

My DR appliance says that backup has been successfully completed, and the log states:

22-11-2010 12:54:52: Normal backup using AM-Fil Backup

22-11-2010 12:55:02: Copying AM-Fil

22-11-2010 12:55:17: Performing incremental back up of disk "[Raid5-1Tb01] AM-Fil/AM-Fil-flat.vmdk" using "Network"

22-11-2010 13:01:42: Performing incremental back up of disk "[Raid5-1Tb01] AM-Fil/AM-Fil_1-flat.vmdk" using "Network"

22-11-2010 13:54:58: Task completed successfully

22-11-2010 13:54:58: Completed: 7 files, 1064,1 GB

22-11-2010 13:54:58: Performance: 182501 MB/minute

22-11-2010 13:54:58: Duration: 01:00:07 (00:00:24 idle/loading/preparing)

Now when i mount the DR on a mschine to test if I can actually restore and individual file, the 2nd drive: AM-FIL_1-flat.vmdk is empty, even though there are actually files on the particular drive, approximately 90GB of data worth.

What amazes me is that everything looks fine, but since there are no files to found when its mounted except in the first C-drive, I am not sure if DR can be trusted as a backup program ?

Any help as that what might be going on will be appreciated.

Sincerely,

SC
