VDP upgrade issue 6.0 to 6.1.1

I am trying to upgrade VDP from 6.0 to 6.1.1.  I've downloaded the upgrade ISO and mounted it to the VDP.  When I log into the vdp-configure and go to the upgrade tab, it stays at "Package verification in progress. This may take a few minutes..." with a spinning circle.  I have rebooted the VDP and tried several times, but it does the same thing, endlessly.  I've seen there is a patch for VDP 6.1 -> 6.1.1, but this does not apply to my 6.0 system.  Is there something else I am missing?

There is no in place upgrade to version 6.1.  You have to migrate the data to a new install.

See 6.1 admin guide, 6.1 release notes and there is a KB with lots of details on your options.

I have the same issue trying to upgrade from 5.8 to 6.1,1 just sitting there verification in progress, this might take a few minutes! Its been hours now and no Progress.
