Help! - Mudar tamanho dos discos ESXi

Amigos estou com problemas para fazer o redimensionamento de discos no VM, criei eles em flat, tentei usar o vCenter pra converter ela desligada mas com o disco menor sem sucesso, ocorre o erro quando tento ligar ela: The attempted operation cannot be performed in the current state (Powered Off)

Se alguem puder me ajudar Obrigado.

Você conseguiu utilizar o Converter com sucesso, com disco reduzido ?

Onde você esta tentando carregar a VM (ESX 3.5 , ESX 4 etc.) ?

Estou usando o vCenter com a opcao de conversao VM infra machine, nas opcoes seto elas perfeitamente e conclui com sucesso a conversao com o novo formato do disco, mas o problema é que ele nao da o power on. da o erro citado.

se houver opcao para resizing do disco creio que seria melhor mas ele nao me da a opcao. o VM está no ESXI 4 convertendo pra dentro dele.

Tente o seguinte:

1º - Crie uma nova VM sem disco;

2º - Edite as configurações desta VM e adicione um disco, chamando o arquivo VMDK da sua VM convertida;

3º - Tente ligar a nova VM.

Se você estiver se referindo ao Vmware Converter, ele possui sim uma opção de "resize" do disco, permitindo a redução de seu tamanho.

pq a opcao de resizing só vejo na conversao utilizando o vCenter nao no ESXi.

Having an option to resize the disk would be beneficial, but unfortunately, it's not available. The VM is currently on ESXi 4, undergoing conversion within the same environment.
