I was wondering if other students have any sample verbage they used to apply for grants for IT students without any VCP Certifications? I'm located in the US and applying for H1B and WIOA funding, and also displaced worker funding.
My first barrier was the official PDF has a serious typo on page 2, it currently indicates that step 2 VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization 2024 (VCP-DCV 2024)) is to pass the exam, same as step 3 (website is correct: take classes for step 2 then pass exam step 3). I requested an PDF update via Broadcom support, but my grant applications are due at the end of the week. UPDATE typo is now fixed.
If anyone also has a list of accredited higher educational providers that teach VMware vSphere 8 currently in their curriculum I'd appreciate it. For others looking it appears that WGU and SANS don't teach this skill.

Hi Dan, I can't help you with your grant. I can only direct you to the IT Academy page where you might find institutions that teach certification level courses. https://www.vmware.com/company/it-academy.html
Two of the VMware IT Academy providers in the US that I've known of for a long time are Stanly and CCC&TI:

https://www.cccti.edu/Vmware/default.asp
There are many others I'm sure.
