Blue screen of death when trying to boot with COLD CloneBOOT CD

I am using VI3 enterprise and trying to cold clone a server with the bootable iso that i downloaded.

It gives me a BSOD. I tried the same thing on a workstation and serveral other servers.

I also burned and redownloaded serveral times.

ANy ideas?

Thanks

Did you verify checksum of download? Try burning to disc from a different machine? I have had issues in the past where I'd download a file and it would end up corrupt due to bad RAM.

Windows based LiveCDs will bluescreen on some hardware.

There is no way to create a "One CD fits all hardware" build.

If the box you want to boot has SATA controllers it maybe worth a try to set those controllers in BIOS to IDE-compatibilty mode before booting the CD.

For more help the BSOD value is required

Its working now. It was probably the download. I downloaded the isos from home and boots fine.

Not my problem is getting it to detect the nics. Is there documenation on how to use the PETOOL or an easier way to add drivers?

Thanks
