Failed P2V SBS 2003

Hi,

I've got a problem when my P2V finish the reconfiguration failed !

The message is : "Unable to find the system volume, reconfiguration is not possible."

I've ever test that solution :

But i've got the same issue. When i start the VM i see a blue screen with 7B error.

The P2V is a hot P2V.

Can you help me please ?

did you already tried the suggestions I made in that other post ?

if yes and it still does not boot - post the vmx-file, the boot.ini and a screenshot of diskmanagement

i've trie to put symmpi.sys and modify registry for driver but after restart i've ever blue screen and reconfiguration fail.

In the vmx-file you use

scsi0.virtualDev = "pvscsi"

that will not work.
Set the line to "buslogic"
and then run Converter "configure machine" again

I've change scsi0.virtualDev = "pvscsi" to scsi0.virtualDev = "buslogic" but didn't work.

I've solve my problem, i've modify the registry of source server and put vmmpi.sys before P2V and now the virtual server boot normaly.
