Hi There
I have Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit machine. I would like to know if it is possible to download and install the converter software and then convert this one local machine.
To clarify, I would like to create the VM of the same physical machine that the converter software/process would be running.
If this is possible, would it matter If I had VMware vSphere Client 5.0 on the machine?
Many thanks in advance.

Adrian
Basically this should work (the vSphere Client doesn't matter in this case). However, may need a retail Windows license to be able to re-activate Windows once converted. If you currently have a hardware dependent OEM version, the license key may not be accepted in the converted VM.

Hi André
Many thanks indeed for your prompt response. Most helpful.
I have a retail box version, so I should be OK.
Many thanks again for your helpful reply.
