build# 39557 still does not install VMWARE Converter.msi?

I unintalled the old build and reinstalled Build # 39557 and it still does not install C:\Program Files\VMWARE\Converter\Vmware converter.msi

I had to manually extract it from the Cold boot ISO and it worked fine.

Other issues is the conversion failes on W2k physical server unless you reboot the server after the converter agent is installed.

After all this it works fine.

I installed converter on W2K3 SP2 on IBM X346

Hmm... odd. I see it installed on my XP SP2 box. Note that this is with the Standard edition.

I wonder if it is a Windows 2k3 server issue. I'll give it a go on Windows XP but this should work on Server as well I would think?

I installed this build on a 2K3 R2 host and found the MSI there. I'm surprised that your installation doesn't have it...was there a previous version of Converter on the host that you upgraded from?
