error converting notebook with xp

Hi

i'm trying to convert an hp notebook with windows xp to a vmware image, but i recive this error:

02:30:15 AM Step 3 : Preparing target virtual machine

02:30:28 AM ERROR: Unknown error returned by VMware Converter Agent

i have tried several times but recive always this error, at 97%

how can i find what's the problem?

i attach the log file if someone can help me

Make sure you are using Converter 3.0.2

You can gather the logs from the menu File-->Export

You can attach them during a post

yes i'm using the 3.0.2 version

i.ve tried with a usb disk attached to the notebook, and also with network to another pc, it stops always at 97%

Can you post a screenshot of diskmanagement?

Do you get the same error when selecting all partitions without resize using the bootCD?

the only error if i try with bootcd is that it can't determine the operating system of the machine, i'll post my disk management later, i don't have the notebook here now
