I bought recently an Adaptec 5805ZQ to use with my ESXi host, I have managed to install VMware v5.5 but no idea how I can view remote from my workstation the status of the RAID set [ 8 x 2.5" 1TB drives]
I do understand from reading the manual I can't see anything on the VMware ESXI host, I need to remote view it.
Installed on the ESXI server as follow;
esxcli software acceptance set --level=CommunitySupported [was neccessary otherwise it wouldn't install]
esxcli software vib install --no-sig-check -v /vmfs/volumes/57d4197a-9e6b9877-a9a9-00259032a411//vmware-esx-provider-arcconf.vib
Installation Result

Rebooted, then installed on Windows 7 Home 64bits the remote arc. but no result...
Any help much appreciated.
