Cannot get Network adapter to connect

I just converted to Hyper-V guest over to my VMware platform, however, am not able to get the network adapter connected on one of them. When I go to "edit settings" and click the connected box in the "device status" section, it doesn't connect. Instead, I receive an error message: Invalid configuration for device "0".

Both Hyper-V guest came from the same Host and sit on the same VLAN, but only one of the two is giving me issues with getting it connect.

Does anyone know if this is a port issue with the one server? Does anyone have any ideas how to resolve this issue? Thanks...

I have seen this problem to occur after a Storage vmotion, Try these options and one of them should work for you.

Option 1

Go to Edit Settings in the affected virtual machine and disconnect the vNIC.

Use vMotion to migrate the affected virtual machine to another host.

Reconnect the vNIC after the vMotion operation has successfully completed.

Option 2

Replace the vNIC on the virtual machine:

Obtain the correct network information for the vNIC, such as Static IP, Subnet Mask, VLAN, and the dvPortGroup information.

Shut down the guest virtual machine that reports the error.

Remove the vNIC.

Add a new vNIC and populate it with the information noted in step 1, such as Static IP, Subnet Mask, and VLAN.
