ESXi 5.1 gives warning message on Embedded Controller.

Hi I have installed ESXi 5.1 on HP BL460 Gen8, but in the health status of server in vSphere client it given a warning message against embedded controller.

Below is the screen shot of erro meesage.

For Trouble shooting I installed VMware 5.0 on the same server and the error was gone. Please note I am using HP VMware latest iso.

Kindly Advice.

This is an issue caused by the buggy HP February bundle. HP provides an updated bundle at http://vibsdepot.hp.com/hpq/apr2013/esxi-5x-bundles/

For the Gen8 model it's most likely the ams package you need to install.

You can find the "Installation Instructions" at HP's support site for Version: 1.4.5  (15 Apr 2013).

If you are using Agentless Monitoring Service through ILO4, you may install the "ams" bundle.
