Has anyone performance tests for separate vHDs for (C:) and (D:) vs. a single vHD? They will both be on the same VMFS volume. I like the idea of one vHD for backups and portability but when you need to expand disk space, sometimes it is the system volume (C:) and sometimes it is the data volume (D:). Does anyone know what the performance and resource impact is?
