ESXi embedded USB on IBM x series motherboard

Anyone running esxi embedded usb on ibm x series motherboard? We are planning a sandbox SAP installation on VMWare. Using ESXi embedded would save time and money. Pro's and con's of this configuration? Any issues problems anyone has run into? Thanks in advance for your input.

I don't use IBM but running from USB works just fine on HP. It is a supported configuration for IBM and can be ordered with the USB version pre-installed. ESXi loads totally into RAM. Very little writing to USB (backup of the configuration once an hour). There is no difference between the installed to hard drive and installed to USB. One minor caveat with USB is that without any local storage you will need to create a scratch location on disk.
