Esxi v4.1 - Electrical Failure, Unable to Boot Up

On my environment, I have a vSphere v4.1 server. running with 2 virtual servers on it (Win Server 2003 and Win Server 2008).

It happen that we experience electric trip (5 minutes), all the servers will turn off. When the power resume, the vSphere server will boot up but the problem is 2 of the servers remaining off until the administrator manual turn on the 2 virtual servers.

Just wondering is there any way the 2 servers (Win Server 2003 and Win Server 2008) will turn on by itself when the power resume?

On each ESXi host, go to Configuration and under Software select Virtual Machine Startup/Shutdown. Select Properties... and check the box to Allow virtual machines to start and stop automatically with the system. Finally configure the startup order such that the VMs are under automatic startup.

Hope this helps!
