Find WWN Number : MSA 2312sa and ESXI 4.1

Hi Guys,

We are facing a problem to connectl MSA 2312sa to server HP DL380 G6 with ESXI 4.1.

the main problem, I think, is coming from HBA adapter detection.

In the status menu , under Storage it's showing :

Controler 0 (SAS3801E) Normal as status

Controler 1 (SAS3801E) Normal as status

In the storage Adapters menu :

LSI1068E

vmhba2

vmhba3

when I click on vmhba2 nothing is display

I cannot find WWN number to configure the host on the MSA.

Please help

Welcome to the Forums - How do you have you ESX server connected to you storage? If through a Fiber Channel switch is everything zoned correctly - the WWN should be founf on the storage adapter portion of the configuration tabe of the vsphere client - can you attach a screen shot of that

Thank You for answer,

If I connect the MSa to the server ( we have two adapters HBA for redundancy) , the server will hung up on the following message :

Multiextent load succefully .

if we disconnect the MSA or disable HBA adapter on BIOS the server will restart normally.

we didn't configure any host on the MSA , we need to find out WWN/IQ to add the host.
