Here is my setup. 1/8-HP G2 Autoloader>>3 GB SAS Switch>>Smart Array P700m(HP-C7000 Enclosure w/ProLiant BL460c G1) >>Vmware ESXi 4.1>>Windows 2008 Server Backup Exec 2010 R2 (Firmware on all pieces has been updated)
I have know the P700m is not on the hardware comaptability list:

The tape drive works via Backup Exec, but the autoloader is not being presented to the ESXi host. Based on research I have done and what I have seen it looks like I will have to find a different alternative. I figured I would post up as maybe somebody found a way to make this work?
