How to configure Vmware Esxi Event Log

I’m using a stand-alone Vmware ESXi server and just the vSphere client . I douubt that :

1. how to view the vmware event log?
   
2. Can we set the period for the vmware log ?
   
3. Can we store the vmware log ?
   

Any one can help me, or provide me a guide here ?
