I'm running DPDK apps on a ESXi 6.5 VM with Mellanox CX5 100GbE NIC installed and passed through to the VM. For performance considerations, I have to modify certain PCIe parameters for the NIC. However, it seems that the virtualization layer simply ignored the setup instruction without doing anything. Can anyone help me with the issue? Thanks in advance.
