I just spent a few hours trying to figure out how to install/configure IBM Director to receive SNMP gets and failed. For me it looks like there's no acceptable documentation out there in the Internets, so I need you guys to help out.
Has anyone found a way to configure IBM Director (it comes with a "dirsnmpd") to send/receive SNMP commands? Any how-to or configuration guide?
I need smp gets to integrate the ESX 4 hosts into SCOM, so monitoring from within vCenter Server is not an option.
Hints are very appreciated,
