Is there a way to resize virtual disk for Redhat Linux ?

I have a VM running Redhat Linux Enterprise with 2 x 250G hard disk. I want to shrink the hard disks, but VMWare Converter doesn't allow me to do it. can use vmware-vdiskmanager.exe to do it? if it can, how should I do? how can I know the utilization of the hard disks?

Hi,

to resize vmdk's you can check this guide.

The real disk usage can be seen inside the RHEL guest using the command "df -kh".

If the guest is running on a esx(i) host and the vmdk is in thin format the real disk usage can be seen as "provisioned space/usage" in the vm's tabs properties.

Hope this helps Smiley Happy
