Revert to Snapshot freezes at 95%

I'm kind of a newbie to ESXi and I have a vm that I'm trying to revert to a snapshot that has frozen at 95%. I'm afraid to do anything to the system so I don't tank the vm. When I try to view the console of the vm I receive "Unable to connect to the MKS: There is no VMware process running for config file /vmfs/volumes/4bc85216-4d93bc64-509e-002264c34478/servername/servername.vmx. I also do not receive any response through ping or RDP from the server. Any help would be appreciated.

Just wait, the last 5% can take a long time, but it should work. If the operation times out for whatever reason you could try again as the snapshot will not be removed.
