Hi All,
I have a small issue, I am using a Supermicro server with a supermicro RAID controller, the official product code is: AOC-SAS2LP-H8IR. While the RAID install went fine, ESXi sees the Array as a data store, I cant seem to get the RAID card or Array health status to display in the vSphere management platform. I have tried using this VIB, VMware vSphere 5: Private Cloud Computing, Server and Data Center Virtualization.
It installs correctly and shows in Software Components, but I can never see a storage sensor or any info about the array. I am using ESXi 6 U2. Has any one else had this issue or issues with installing the correct vib? Any info or insight will be greatly appreciated! Also if anyone needs more specific info I can do my best to get it. Sorry I am an ESXi newbie!
