Hi all,
As I mentioned above, after the yellow screen saying download tools to manage this host from :http
and I try to restart by pressing f12 asked me to provide credential for "local host" after that I pressed f11 to reboot.
But now it goes blank. Please help
Thanks in advance
You should be able to launch a browser and point it to the IP address of you ESXi server to download the vSphere client.
Your boot time is not normal. What hardware is ESXi running on. Is it on the Hardware compatibility list? http://vmware.com/go/hcl

ESXi does not come with vsphere client in built and that you will need to download from vmware website (the place where you download the ESXi installation). The other way around is that if you have a vCenter server you could access the http:// to get it.

Hi all,
It took a long time to reboot about a couple of hours. Is that normal? as speak I need to reboot again now it goes blank.
Thanks
Thank you for your reply.
Can you please tell me how to obtain the vSphere client , this is the first time I am installing ESXI 4.1
Thanks and Regards
Reboot is very fast as how other normal server OS would be. say less than 10 minutes?
Do you remember the page which you download the ESXi ISO installer? below that would have another link of the vsphere client.

HI,
Sorry for newbie questions.
No, my boss gave me the disk. Should I reinstall esxi again? because it takes so long to reboot.
Thanks again
