Unable to access Esxi Host which already registered to vCenter

Hello everyone,

I have two ESXI hosts which both are registered on vCenter and AutoStart on VM vCenter is not enabled. vCenter Lenovo server has been restarted and  now I don't have access to hosts! I am getting permission error when I trying to login from esxi host GUI.

I have tried to login to HOST by SSH but it seems the root user doesn't have permission to login!

Is there any way to access to hosts which they are registered to vCenter?

Thank You

Have you tried accessing the host directly through the console rather than via SSH?

Hello HotShot,

Thanks for your replay.

Yes, I can login in console by root and password(Yellow/Black screen). I have tried to enable ESXCLI SHELL in the console and login to it. But, when I trying to login by root/pssword (Same as I login to Console) but this time I am getting error which is incorrect

Hi,

Please check lockdown mode status on host and try to disable one: https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/1008077

If you can get in through the console, then as lukaszzasko indicated, the issue is probably that the host was configured to go into lockdown mode when first connected to vcenter.
