Unknow meaning to error message - ESXi 5.5 u3

We are seeing many of these errors:

[35780B70 error 'SoapAdapter.HTTPService.HttpConnection'] Failed to read header on stream <io_obj p:0x351038a0, h:73, <TCP '0.0.0.0:0'>, <TCP '0.0.0.0:0'>>: N7Vmacore15SystemExceptionE(Connection reset by peer)

I just have no idea what the mean ?  They occur on a ESXi host server once every 5 minutes.  Http could mean network, but io_obj could reference a storage device. Does anyone have a good description of what can cause these errors ?
