Updating ESX4 using UpdateXpress

Hi,

I have downloaded the latest updatexpress package for my ESX4 Server: uxspi420.rhel5

Along with this I downloaded a few .bin files that came with it.

My question is - what command do I use to execute the updatexpress package? I thought it was ./uxspi420.rhel5 ?

Thanks

Hello.

What happens when you try to run ./uxspi420.rhel5? How did you download the files or get them onto the ESX host? The uxspi420.rhel5 file may not have the right permissions.

Good Luck!

Hi, I changed the permissions and it executed but returned this error:
