VMWare ESXi 5.5 free version limitations

Hi,

Is there a consolidated list of the limitations of the free version of ESXi 5.5 compared to the various paid versions?

As I read now from various places, there is a limit of 8 vCPU per VM. Is this from day 1, or only after the 60 day trial license expires?

Also, are there limitations on management of the individual VMs? Is the native Vsphere client still available? I read of a new Vsphere web console that apparently is unavailable for the free version? How do I manage (snapshot, modify disk size, etc) my VMs then? What are the management limitations?

Lastly, does the free version include patches beyond the trial period?

Thanks!

In my knowledge apart from the limitation mentioned in your comment the vSphere API's are not exposed in the free version.

To get a full list of features supported and limits

Connect through a vSphere client to ESXi.   Goto Configurations > Licensed features;

The limits are mentioned here also; http://www.vmware.com/products/vsphere-hypervisor/gettingstarted

But its not an exhaustive one.
