VMs are inaccessible

Hi,

In the lab i am having esx 4. This esx holds nfs volumes as well as iscsi luns from NetApp filer. I was working on some vms perfectly fine. Next day i found all my vms and datastore went to inaccessible state.

I went to filer and exported those volumes again. Still then the problem persist i have disconnected the esx from vc and from ESX did the following steps :

  1. service mgmt-vmware stop

  1. rpm -qa | grep vpxa

VMware-vpxa-4.0.0-162856

  1. /etc/init.d/vmware-vpxa stop

  1. rpm -e VMware-vpxa-4.0.0-162856

  1. service mgmt-vmware start

Tried to reconnect the esx to the vc, which failed then i rebooted esx.

After reboot i can connect the esx to vc. Now all of my datastores are accessibles. Some of those vm came online. But when i tried to add some vms to inventory from the nfs datastore it is saying

vms are inaccessible. Any idea what went wrong and how to fix this issue.
