VMs not automatically starting

Hello.

I have 2 VMs on my whitebox ESXi host. I have them setup to automatically start, but whenever I reboot the host I am not having those VMs start.Anything I need to check to see why this isn't happening? Thanks,

Could you please share a screenshot from your startup/shutdown from configuration tab?

Was that what you were looking for? If you need anything else, just let me know. I can pull it up pretty quick. I got my remote services back up & working. Just let me know. Thanks for your help.

I disabled the autostart. Rebooted the host. Then turned the autostart back on. Now it does as expected & both my VMs start automatically. I guess it was operator error. Thanks.

Hi ,

please check below steps

Log in your vSphere Web Client and click Configuration:

Select Virtual Machine Startup/Shutdown:

Select Properties:

Configure auto start and auto stop of the VMs. Check Allow virtual machines to start and stop automatically with the system:

Define the global paramenters for the startup and shutdown of all the VMs. Then move the virtual machines you need to auto start from the Manual Startup list to the Automatic Startup one:

Review the Startup Order list:

Also you can verify the startup and shutdown sequence from the main tab:
