Virtual Hardware Question.

Hi,

I have a question regarding Virtual Hardware.

I have a VM which is hardware version 4 which has additional disks in separate datastores. I'm building a new vm which I will attach the additional disks from the original server.

My question is if I build the new VM on version 7 will the additional disks work with the new VM? Or will I have to make the new VM version 4 and then upgrade?

I have just tested this and it works fine.
