Following an ESX host reboot, is it normal for logins via vSphere client to either host or vCenter server to be delayed by up to 20 minutes?
In our environment that is still to be put into production, we have one ESX host with the vCenter installed on a VM machine within this host. Not an ideal situation but we haven't yet installed a second host or configured shared storage yet. I understand that connection to the vCenter server my take a little longer as the VM would still be starting, but we are finding it impossible to login via VI client to the host until 20 to 30 minutes has passed.
