We recently updated to ESX 4 and after fiddeling with the new vSwitches our vSphere Client has started acting up.
Every 10 minutes or so you now get kicked out with an error message stating:
Session Stopped
The session with servername server has been stopped by an administrator. vSphere Client will be closed.
What might be the source of this issue?
Hi,
I have started to get the same message.
Did you solve the problem?
Regards,
Ron.
Hi,
Can you be more specife please ? let us know what was the previous version of ESX sever and VC ? to what version you have upgraded both ? After ESX upgrade did you update any other product relevant to Vsphere ?
Hi,
I did not upgrade. I have installed vCenter 4 & ESX 4 from scratch.
Last month I have upgraded to U1.
Today I got my Enterprise Plus licenses. I have added them and deleted
the old Enterprise licenses. I have configured a new dv switch but only for
1 server (I have 4 in a cluster) and only for the LAN nics.
I'm not so sure that this is the cause of the problem but these are the changes
I have made today.
Regards,
Ron.
I too am having this exact same issues, seems to have started around the time of my VSphere 4.1 upgrade...please help this is obnoxious and I can't seem to locate any else with this issue. Is it possible this is a permissions issue? Other administrators logging in?
