vcb backup proxy role

The built in vcb backup proxy role does not work. I keep getting a permission denied. When i run vcbmounter as full admin it works.

anyone experience this?

Have you tried to connect with vSphere Client with this user to see if is correct?

. Datastore>Browse Datastore

b. Virtual Machine>Inventory>Create

c. Virtual Machine>Configuration>Add Existing Disk

d. Virtual Machine>Configuration>Remove Disk

e. Virtual Machine>Configuration>Modify Device Settings

f. Virtual Machine>Configuration>Settings

g. Virtual Machine>Configuration>Change Resource

h. Virtual Machine>Configuration>Upgrade Virtual Hardware

i. Virtual Machine>Configuration>Disk Lease

j. Virtual Machine>State>Create Snapshot

k. Virtual Machine>State>Remove Snapshot

l. Virtual Machine>Provisioning>Clone

m. Virtual Machine>Provisioning>Allow Read-only Disk Access

n. Virtual Machine>Provisioning>Allow Virtual Machine Download

o. Resource>Assign Virtual Machine To Resource Pool

getting poermission denied.

I am logged in to the vcb proxy server as a administrator of vcenter

but I run vcbmounter as a vcbadmin

and vcbadmin as the above rights.

but it fails.

When I change the role to full rights, then it works
