Moving a ESX 2.5 host to a different network

I currently have ESX 3 with VC 2.x environment. My company purchased another company that has one ESX 2.5 host with 5 virtual machines all local storage. For various reasons this host cannot be upgraded at this time but must physically move ( ip addresses will change). What is the best solution? ifconfig to change the ip on the host? What about the vm's?

Thanks for you help!

Basically move your server to the new network and then change the Service Console IP, see the below link for this...

Then change the IP addresses of your VM's to fit into your new network config.

fyi....if you find this post helpful, please award points using the Helpful/Correct buttons...thanks

login to the service console, and type setup

you can change the ip from there.
