VI3 Enterprise VDI and VI3 Enterprise Licensing

We are building an enterprise ESX envriornment that will virtualize both servers and desktops.

We are purchasing some VI3 Enterprise Edtion VDI licenses and some VI3 Enterprise Edition licenses.

Can I combine both sets of licenses into one licence file and serve it out from one license server, or do they need to be seperated?

I believe that you can combine the licenses, but I don't use VDM, so can't be 100%

Keep in mind, that you have to have a hosted desktop license (requires SA) to host XP or Vista.
