Can anyone please point me to a proven way to silently automate the disk cleanup utility on Windows 7 full clone desktops? Reading up on the topic it sounds like perhaps the best way is to do a GPO with a scheduled task. From there can someone please point me to a proven way to setup this scheduled task and the script or commands to run disk cleanip silently?
Thanks in advance!
Hello, You make any progress with this?
Looking for advise from anyone that maintains full clones. Are you running any cleanup tasks so the disk space used doesnt go out of control?
ksliger_pnfp did you find any solution for this (after a year)? Is this topic still relevant?
If yes:
Create a scheduled task in Windows GPO and let it run under "NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM" (so the user will not got bothered). Use cleanmgr.exe /sageset:11 and after this task run cleanmgr.exe /sagerun:11
