Combine View 3 (or 4) licenses

Hello all,

We have a customer who bought two bundles of licenses, each one of 100 VMware View desktops, and, of course, he wants to use up to 200 desktops.

In the View Administration Portal, the licensing section does not show how many licenses are applied nor which is your current one. So, how can we combine both (or more) View licenses for our customer to use the 200 desktops at the same time?

I think you can't combine it. Call vmware licensing team at +1-877-486-9273 or at vi-hotline@vmware.com and ask them how to do it.

Hi,

as far as I know you cannot do that, so you have to upgrade your View3 licenses.

We were told to put the 100 desktop license key in and just keep subsequent license keys handy if anyone comes asking.

It doesn't seem to have a mechanism to enter multiple keys nor combine multiple 100 user keys.
