Disable access to the client drives

Hi,

Is there a way to disable access or totally hide the client machine drives while logged into the virtual desktop via the View Connection Broker?

Thanks,

Yes, there is a way. You have to configure a policy in the Active Directory or on the local client....

I would choose the centralized way with the Active Directory ... Put your virtual desktops all in a OU and apply a GPO on that.

I've written a blog post on that, but it's in the German language: http://communities.vmware.com/blogs/dommermuth/2009/02/06/clientlaufwerke-in-der-virtuellen-desktop-...

Check it out! Maybe the screenshots will be enough ...
