Event Database logging in Horizon View 5.3.5 build-3038335 not including all information

Hi all,

Environment:

Horizon View 5.3.5 build-3038335, two connection servers paired with a security server each

Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (SP3) used as Event Database

Since a specific date only "minimal" information is logged to the event database, i.e. I am missing the below EventType and ModuleAndEventText categories:

BROKER_DESKTOP_REQUEST - User DOMAIN\USER requested Pool POOL

BROKER_MACHINE_ALLOCATED    User DOMAIN\USER requested Pool POOL, allocated machine MACHINE

AGENT_PENDING    The agent running on machine MACHINE has accepted an allocated session for user DOMAIN\USER

BROKER_DAILY_MAX_USERS    Over the past 24 hours, the maximum number of users with concurrent desktop sessions was NUMBER

There are many more types missing, but you get my point.

I cannot point this change in relation to any infrastructure changes. Neither can I find any documentation on an "Event Database log level", which would explain these two behaviors ("Full" vs. "minimalistic" logging).

Any advice?

Would you be able to try removing the Event Database Configuration and re-adding it?

Make sure to create a backup if the database.
