Hi,

View 4 is working very well for us, minus this one issue. It is an application written in Java. With PCoIP, it displays completely garbled and unusable. When switching to RDP, however, it displays perfectly.

Has anyone had an experience like this? I would prefer to use PCoIP to avoid messing with RDP groups and permissions (the user pool is currently unclear so getting people immediate access to RDP-run systems is annoying).

Is this on the LAN or WAN? Could you try the same app in the vCenter Console to see if it is the same problem there?

What java app is it and is it just some of the graphics or all? Is for example text-boxes ok but pictures not?

This is on a LAN, our internal network here in our building.

The Java app is an in-house creation (not written by me). I have attached a screenshot to illustrate it.

We have seen this in some cases, it is usually due to a few things:

Beta version of the Agent that was upgraded to GA

Non-matching versions of the Client and Agent.

Could any of these be applicable on your issue?

Thanks for continuing support on this. Neither of these conditions are true. The client reports version "4.0.0 build-210939" and the .exe of the Agent lists the same, though the version is listed as 4.0.0.1796 under add/remove programs. I never had a beta or RC client installed.

VMWare Tools is up to date, I do have the vCenter Converter Agent still installed on the machine also.
