I don't advise to use the login VSI template it just blocks way to much for the desktops to work properly. You will have to find out what works for you by trial and error. The same thing for other templates btw, all environments are different so always try what works and what doesn't.
You can try using the VMware OS optimization tool for your windows. You can get it from here. I have used it on my Windows 10 x64 1607 LTSB and I did not find any issues during customization and domain join.
