I'm currently evaluating VMware View and noticed that performance data is missing from vSphere on our vm's which we assigned to View. Is this normal? The vm was previosly being accessed from a thin client device using rdp and performance data was always there.
This isn't typical behavior and could be indicative of a vCenter issue.
Thanks, I wanted to check before possibly wasting a lot of time looking into it to only find out it was a View issue.
No problem. I would try to narrow the scope down by seeing if other VMs are affected and if it's a host issue or a global vCenter issue. You could then work your way into making sure the roll up jobs on the database side are running correctly.
