White screen after logon?

I have setup VDM 2 and all is working fine. I can connect to the web front end and logon onto a desktop as administrator. But I can not logon as any other user (unless in the admins group). I have tried various other permissions and groups to no avail.

the setup is a vanilla install of AD and a another 2003 sp2 server for the vdm server, and the desktop images are xp sp2. Running ontop of ESX 3.5 and VC 2.5.

Any ideas?

You need to configure the remote desktop users group on your VMs, users need to be in this group to be able to connect over RDP. Note that it's also possible to manage this group via group policy. There's more information on this in the

The user is in the renote desktop users group. But I have checked with another working system and the users there are not in the that group yet it works anyway?

As for event logs I have not checked yet and will not be able to as I am out and about. I will have a look as soon as possible.
