change security server port

Team,

How do i change the security server port in View 4.5? i want my external clients to hit like port 4443 instead of 443 or 80...

I think you could do that form your firewall, you could do a NAT port forwarding.

I could but im already using 443 for something else Smiley Happy

Is there an offical way? when i installed i told it to use 4443 but its still only responding on 443

The the firewall or router you could do this x.x.x.x:8443 forward to internal x.x.x.x:443 the other way would be but not tested is that you could modify the vmware view security file's apache httpd config file and add additional listening port. i could only test this out next monday when i have access to my environment.

so far i could not find any official documentation or link on changing the default security server listening port. Smiley Sad
