Printer issue : when a user login to horizon client and need to print, devices and printers window showing 20+ identical printers. I can delete them but can't get rid of them. they keep coming back.
Session issue : it seems horizon (connection server) is not signing out the user. VCenter shows it fine.
Hi JamalE,
Regarding your printer issue, is this specific to the user? If so, are these not local redirected printers appearing?
Regarding your session issue, it could be hung on an open user application or a prompted dialogue box. Have you already implemented the Registry Keys to hasten logoff? 👉 https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2151503
Hello and thank you for your reply.
what registry key are you talking about?
also, the multiple printers show up on multiple VMs for multiple users. the printer is a print server object. I should also mention that I found out today that this issue not happening to all VMs. I created a new gold image to test it, and I do not have this problem this new test vm. so I guess I have a dirty gold image issue.
thanks again.
The registry keys mentioned in the VMware KB ( https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2151503 ) article, like

Registry Type | REG_SZ |
Registry Value | 1 |
Registry Path | HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control |
