In our environment, for printing purposes, we need the %clientname% environment variable in windows xp set when logging into a users virtual desktop (when switching physical thin clients). I noticed the VMware agent environment variables update but is there a way to get other variables to update as well (mainly %clientname%)? I've been searching a couple days for ways to refresh variable in windows but haven't had any luck so far.
