Subject: RE: Instructor Action Required: Update to Exam Enablement Process - Week of March 27
Hi team – Ryan brought up a question regarding exam enablement that I should have clarified in my original message.
The Shared Services team performs class closure activities on Friday each week. That means students taking a two-day Configure and Manage course will have to wait until the end of the week to receive the follow up message and exam instructions. Please set this expectation with the students in your classes.

Subject: Instructor Action Required: Update to Exam Enablement Process - Week of March 27
Hi team,
We have good news for instructors! You may be aware that our team has an initiative to move out of myAirWatch over the coming months. Part of this transition includes changing the way students take Accreditation exams. Starting next week, all students (customers, partners, non-associated) will take their exams through myLearn. Exams will be enabled by Shared Services teams in Bangalore/Costa Rica and they will send the follow-up email as part of the class closure process.
Process starting week of March 27
1. Instructor submits Class Roster (standard process)
2. Instructor to mark attendance in myLearn at the end of training (standard process)
3. Shared Services will enable the exams for students who completed training (NEW)
4. Shared Services will send the follow-up email from myLearn (NEW)
5. Shared Services will close the class (standard process)
Action for Instructors
For all classes starting after March 27, do not enable exams for any of your students in AirWatch Salesforce. Note: you are still required to enable exams for the classes that have ended prior to March 24.
Action for VCI program (Andy/Robert/Pavan)
Please contact any active VCIs in your Geo and update them on process. Currently, they submit a ticket to training@air-watch.com to initiate exam enablement and follow-up emails. This action will no longer be required. They only need to submit the roster and mark attendance.
Additional Notes for Reference
• James will be updating the follow-up emails in myLearn with new instructions for students.
o Instructions will include how to access exams and how to “subscribe” to the relevant accreditation plan in myLearn.
• James will be updating the instructor handbook with new process.
• We will be transferring all customer/internal employee’s active accreditations to myLearn before moving out of myAirWatch. (This requirement is currently being reviewed by the myLearn IT team).
o The Ops team will not transfer myLearn accreditations to myAirWatch at the request of customers (as the accreditations will soon be inaccessible via myAW)
James and I will keep you updated on relevant information for moving out of myAirWatch (such as timeline, customer communications, reaccreditation in the future, etc). If you have any questions in the meantime, please let us know.
Thanks,
