AWS data source is not showing up

I saw a couple of guides. and screenshots on MPB but I can't see the AWS as a source when I try to create a new pack.

It takes me straight to the rest api HTTP config page

I believe those screenshots are from a beta version of the product. We removed the AWS source configuration option before the 1.0 release due to a lack of interest.

Our product manager @tdunckel and I would like to speak to you to understand your use case, or you can post some more details of what you'd like to do in this thread.

Thanks for your response.

I am a Vmware employee and we can discuss my use case on slack in more details but in short , the vRops AWS management pack does not cover any cost metrics and I wanted to try and use the  AWS cost explorer API to try and fetch those metrics.
